I'm a young human (to my sometime chagrin), a worldbuilder, and a once and future student of chemistry. Much of my time is spent exploring the nooks and crannies of a fictional universe of my own creation in minute detail, and most (or all) of my art depicts the characters, creatures, geology, art, language, and astronomy of this fictional world. Humans will probably not be showing up in my art, and humanoids are even less likely. Empathetic pseudo-arthropods with fresnel lenses for eyes and exoskeletons modeled off of turtle shells, however, may well be sighted.
Favourite Visual Artist
Ooh...Tough one. I'm not much of a connoisseur of art, frankly. Hayao Miyazaki deserves a mention, though.
Favourite Movies
Castle in the Sky, Wall•E, Pride and Prejudice (the GOOD version, with Colin Firth), Spirited Away, Kind Hearts and Coronets, His Girl Friday, any and all of the Marx Brothers' movies, and Ratatouille all deserve mentions.
Favourite TV Shows
My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, Doctor Who, and Pinky and the Brain are the only ones that spring to mind.
Favourite Bands / Musical Artists
I'm not much of a connoisseur of music, either, frankly. Bach, Beethoven, Handel, Tchaikovsky, and Vivaldi, I guess?
Favourite Books
Watership Down, the Foundation Trilogy, A Little Princess, the Astérix books, Mary Norton's Borrowers books, Digger, and everything ever written by P.G. Wodehouse.
Favourite Writers
P.G. Wodehouse, Isaac Asimov, Carl Sagan, Mary Norton, Ursula Vernon, and H.P. Lovecraft.
Favourite Games
Metroid Prime, Majora's Mask, Chrono Trigger, Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, Okami, and SimEarth.
Favourite Gaming Platform
Gamecube, entirely because it hosted the pinnacle of gaming perfection that is Metroid Prime.
Tools of the Trade
For the vast majority of my work, anything capable of leaving a mark on a flat surface, but for my more polished pieces, I tend to either use Sculpey, Prismacolor pencils, or a Wacom tablet.
Other Interests
Science in general, chemistry and physics particularly.
